| Japanese crane
"Tancho": a noble bird with a red pate and
white body standing at ca. 1.5 meters in height. Native "Tanchos" are found only in Kushiro Shitsugen (Marshland). They perform love dance in the middle of winter. The Workshop will be held in this neighborhood and this season. |
The International Workshop on "Dynamical Phenomena Related with Electrons at Surfaces" will be held from January 28-31, 2000 in Kushiro, Japan.
The aim of the Workshop is to provide an international forum for experimental and theoretical researchers, in the field of dynamical phenomena related with Electrons at Surfaces to address problems in surface science of fundamental and applied nature.
The final Workshop participants will be limited to less than 50 people.

wish to present paper(s) should submit one page abstract(s),
typewritten in English, with this Abstract Submission Form (click
here).
The instruction for preparing the abstract is given here
(Click here). Note the requirement of a
complete mailing address, fax number and electronic mail address
below the abstract.
Contributions will be judged on the basis of the significance of
the results described in the abstract. The abstract should be
written to make clear the purpose and scope of the work and the
new results obtained.
Contributed papers are limited to the poster session.

Opening Ceremony will start at 18:30 (JST), January 28
at ANA Hotel Kushiro. Dinner will be prepared in the
Ceremony.
The last available flight for attending the Opening
Ceremony
is ANA flight from Tokyo-Haneda Airport leaving at 15:15
to
Kushiro Airport arriving at 16:45.(Click here)
Attention please: About two hours are necessary for
travelling from
Tokyo-Narita Airport to Tokyo-Haneda Airport.

The registration
fee for Dyna-press is 30,000 yen per participant, who makes both
an advanced registration and an advanced remittance by November
13, 2000. The registration fee is 35,000 yen after November 13,
2000. The registration fee includes the cost of meals, drinks in
the session, banquet fee and "Tancho"-watching bus
ticket. Banquet fee for each accompanying person is 10,000 yen.
Payment must be made in Japanese currency only. The remittance is
requested to be made through the direct bank transfer to
